As pequisas\u00a0 indicam que pessoas submetidas ao isolamento social desenvolvem sintomas psicol\u00f3gicos variados, principalmente relacionados ao estresse, ansiedade e depress\u00e3o, decorrentes da priva\u00e7\u00e3o social e do confinamento. A pandemia de COVID-19\u00a0 tem afetado toda a popula\u00e7\u00e3o mundial de diferentes formas (e.g., perda de familiares, demiss\u00f5es, restri\u00e7\u00e3o financeira, isolamento social e perda da liberdade).<\/p>\n<p>Observaram diversos\u00a0 fatores\u00a0 como preditores de maior sofrimento mental:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dura\u00e7\u00e3o do per\u00edodo de isolamento social (&gt; 10 dias).<\/li>\n<li>Medo de ser infectado ou infectar outras pessoas, frustra\u00e7\u00e3o, t\u00e9dio, falta de suprimentos e informa\u00e7\u00f5es inadequadas sobre a doen\u00e7a (<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scielo.br\/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0103-166X2020000100506#B11\">Brooks et al., 2020<\/a><\/sup>). Alguns desses fatores foram associados a um maior n\u00famero de sintomas de Transtorno de Estresse P\u00f3s-Traum\u00e1tico (TEPT), transtornos de ansiedade e afetos negativos ap\u00f3s o final do isolamento social (<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scielo.br\/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0103-166X2020000100506#B16\">Desclaux et al., 2017<\/a><\/sup>; <sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scielo.br\/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0103-166X2020000100506#B27\">Hawryluck et al., 2004<\/a><\/sup>; <sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scielo.br\/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0103-166X2020000100506#B31\">Jeong et al., 2016<\/a><\/sup>; <sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scielo.br\/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0103-166X2020000100506#B67\">Reynolds et al., 2008<\/a><\/sup>). 30% da amostra de alguns estudos sobre participantes submetidos ao isolamento social apresentavam crit\u00e9rios para o diagn\u00f3stico de TEPT (<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scielo.br\/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0103-166X2020000100506#B27\">Hawryluck et al., 2004<\/a><\/sup>; <sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scielo.br\/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0103-166X2020000100506#B80\">Sprang &amp; Silman, 2013<\/a><\/sup>),\u00a0 preval\u00eancia\u00a0 similar \u00e0 encontrada em sobreviventes de guerra (<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scielo.br\/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0103-166X2020000100506#B51\">Morina, Stam, Pollet, &amp; Priebe, 2018<\/a><\/sup>).<\/li>\n<li>Perda de familiares ou amigos , vitimas da COVID-19 .<\/li>\n<li>Perdas financeiras e estigma, s\u00e3o\u00a0 fatores de risco para o desenvolvimento de transtornos mentais e afetos negativos prolongados (<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scielo.br\/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0103-166X2020000100506#B3\">Bai et al., 2004<\/a><\/sup>; <sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scielo.br\/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0103-166X2020000100506#B49\">Mihashi et al., 2009<\/a><\/sup>). Os preju\u00edzos financeiros, por sua vez, parecem constituir maior fator de risco no desenvolvimento de transtornos mentais para fam\u00edlias de n\u00edvel socioecon\u00f4mico baixo (<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scielo.br\/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0103-166X2020000100506#B27\">Hawryluck et al., 2004<\/a><\/sup>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>O isolamento social \u00e9 importante para redu\u00e7\u00e3o do cont\u00e1gio , mas para se combater o isolamento psicol\u00f3gico, \u00e9 muito importante nos mantermos\u00a0 conectados, n\u00e3o perder a conex\u00e3o com amigos e familiares, hoje facilitada pelos celulares e internet. Para tornar o isolamento toler\u00e1vel \u00e9 muito importante construir uma nova rotina, n\u00e3o ficar de pijamas,\u00a0 buscar atividades l\u00fadicas e criativas, como pintar, organizar fotografias, leitura, ouvir m\u00fasica, atividades f\u00edsicas, bem como\u00a0 manter as atividades de modo remoto,\u00a0 como substitui\u00e7\u00e3o de aulas presenciais, atendimentos m\u00e9dicos e psicol\u00f3gicos, e reuni\u00f5es de trabalho.<\/p>\n<p>No contexto da pandemia , o acolhimento\u00a0 psicol\u00f3gico\u00a0 tem um papel importante pois\u00a0 responde \u00e0s demandas espont\u00e2neas por ajuda psicol\u00f3gica no exato momento de sua urg\u00eancia, colocando um espa\u00e7o de escuta abertos \u00e0 diversidade e pluralidade de demandas.
